Save the file
To save the file created in Corel Draw to the computer, you can use the save option on the File menu or you can use the Save S option.
- When you save any file in Corel Draw software for the first time, a dialog box will appear in front of you and ask the name of the file in that dialog box.
- Then when you enter the name of the file in this dialog box and then you click on the save button, your file will be saved in the computer.
Note: Apart from .cdr, you can save files here plotter file, WMF, DWG, DXF, PCT, CDT, PAT, PDF etc.
When you save the file, then at that time, if you want to reduce its version to 15.0, then you can add any small notes or key words to the file.
- After making changes to the file which is already saved in the computer, you can save it by another name.
Save as template
When you want to save a file in Corel Draw template, you can use this option, the file you save will be saved in .CDT format.
- When you click on this option, the Save dialog box opens in front of you.
- Here, in the file name, set the file name and the Corel Draw Template in the Save S Type option.
- While saving the file in the Save S template, it can be reduced to 15.0 instead.
- When you have done all this, after that click on the save button, the file will be saved in .cdf format.
